Thousands of ideas on how to fix the spill have flooded into British Petroleum's office.
However, one has caught the attention of many.
The plan was developed by 10-year-old Charlie Vaughn and his father and can be clearly demonstrated in a video posted on YouTube.
Check it out in the above video.
Charlie's dad, Tommy Vaughn, is an engineering professor at the university of Minnesota. Tommy says he submitted the plan to BP two weeks ago.
The Vaughn's have yet to hear back from the BP.
