Police continue to search for whoever is responsible for the beating death of a University of Louisiana-Lafayette student.

A week ago, a 20-year-old student was found beaten to death at his home on McKinley Street near the UL college campus.

Police say the second victim, his 20-year-old Alexandria roommate, remains in the hospital heavily sedated, but is showing signs of improvement.

Lafayette police are following up on numerous tips and leads.
