The crisis in the Gulf may soon have some serious seafood side effects on the local economy.

Nearly 20% of the Gulf is off limits and with many captains laying boom for BP, there are fewer boats in the water bringing in the Louisiana staples.

As supply goes down, many wonder if prices will soon go up.
