A New Orleans jury has awarded close to $650,000 dollars to two ohio men who spent almost six weeks in custody.

The two men were held the entire time and never charged with a crime.

A Louisiana jury found Sheriff Marlin Gusman knew the men never had a probable cause hearing, but held them until October anyway.

The jailed men orignially asked for over a million dollars.
