Cory Bahr(bar) of Monroe took top prize on the Food Network show Chopped.
Raised by his grandparents in Northeast louisiana, he said he wanted to win for them.
Bahr is the owner and head chef at Cotton Restaurant in Monroe.
Bahr defeated three other chefs and took home ten thousand dollars.
Their challenge on Chopped is to take a mystery basket of ingredients and turn them into a dishes that are judged on creativity, presentation and taste all within a time limit.
