UPDATE: St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz tells Fox15 News Lafayette two possible gravesites have been ruled out in this case. Right now, investigators are looking at a possible third gravesite.
Detectives got a tip from a farmer who said he'd discovered three dirt mounds in a wooded area. St. Landry Parish investigators organized a team of investigators to look into the findings.
Investigators tell us they'll have completed investigating the third potential gravesite within an hour. Our news crew is still in route to the location, and we're in constant contact with St. Landry Parish investigators. We'll continue to update.
