The UL golf team watches the New Orleans Privateers swipe this year's Louisiana Classics at Oakborne CC. UNO walked away with a one-stroke wio over the Ragin’ Cajuns.

UNO totalled 858 shots to UL's 859.

The 2nd place finish was disappointing for Theo Sliman's club, who said the outcome "stings".The Cajuns won the Louisiana Classics in back-to-back years from 1993-94. Their next closest effort was a third place finish back in 1999.

UL's Devin Carrey had a lot of success over the two day tournament. Carrey finished 3rd overall, one shot off the lead.

UL's Kyle Pritchard (t-15th) and Thomas Petts (t-19th) finished in the top 25.
