The team returns from Texas focused on this weekend's conference games
I could tell right away at practice today that Tony Robichaux wasn't happy with the effort his team showed last night against Houston.
He gathered his players around for a quick chat before practice and then sat back and watched with a critical eye from his perch behind the batting cage, probably wondering how a team that had beaten it's opponents by 8 or more runs in four straight games could have come out so flat in Texas.
UL has a chance to bounce back into Robe's good graces this weekend but it won't be easy. The Cajuns jet to Miami tomorrow for a 3-games series with Sun Belt leader, Florida International.
After the Cajuns dropped last night's matchup with the Cougars, they fell back to .500 at 10-10-1 this season.
I caught up with Coach at practice to talk about how the Cajuns will move on from their first loss in a week AND about a few injured players that might see playing time this weekend.
