LAFAYETTE - Its officially Crawfish season in south Louisiana.
Many local seafood businesses are warning mudbug lovers to not count on them being big or cheap.
Managers at Heads and Tails Seafood restaurant say the cold weather did a number on this years crop.
They say normally they would have 100 sacks to sell, but expect no more than ten this time around.
They remind seafood lovers, plenty of shrimp will be available.
