Deputy placed on leave

LAFAYETTE - Lafayette Parish sheriff's deputy Jean Phillip Joubert was cited for allegedly slashing a tire in the parking lot of Walmart.

Officers were able to identify the suspect by the jacket he was wearing.

Joubert has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.
