Lafayette cracks top ten

LAFAYETTE — Lafayette is continuing to move up, now cracking the top 10 in a national list that ranks cities on job and income growth.

The city is now number 9 on the "Best Performing Cities in 2009."

The report shows Lafayette has done relatively well in the recession and tops all Louisiana cites for the third year in a row.
