Makes Important Economic Development Announcement

November 28, 2012 —   Governor Jindal went to the St. Landry Economic & Industrial development office in Opelousas today to make an exciting announcement.

  "Agro-Tech International is investing $10 million to create a bio-tech manufacturing facility right here in St. Landry parish."--Governor Bobby Jindal

  This new development will create 50 new direct jobs paying an average of $50,000 a year before benefits.  It will also create 51 indirect jobs meaning Agro-Tech is investing $10 million to create over a hundred new jobs right here in Acadiana.
