Entergy Employees Volunteer Time And Donate Money In Effort To Combat Hunger

One in eight people in Louisiana is impacted by hunger.

The Second Harvest Food Bank serves twelve parishes around Acadiana and sees the problem first hand.
today they got a hand from Entergy.

Workers donated time and made a five thousand dollar donation that will provide twenty-thousand meals to families in need.

"What we ask of our volunteers is to provide time which they are doing today with the repack day. resources which they provides us through their check and also a food drive which they are also planning for us in may. so they are actually supporting us in every avenue possible. "
