Jindal continues to lead fight against spill
Governor Bobby Jindal continues to work out new plans in the fight against the crisis on the coast.
Jindal says he's ready to protect Louisiana under the worst case scenario.
Jindal is requesting 8 million feet of absorbent and hard boom, as well as 30 jacked up barges.
Jindal is also asking the Coast Guard to train local fisherman, so they will be able to deploy and monitor the boom.
While the plan still needs the Coast Guard's approval and the funds from BP, Jindal says it's going to be the people of Louisiana who are going to make them work.
