Legendary Louisiana Supreme Court Justice Steps Down
A Louisiana Supreme Court Justice is leaving her post to spend more time with her family.
Catherine Kitty Kimball says she will step down from her position in January.
Kimball has served as Chief Justice for the past three years but has been a Louisiana Judge for 3 decades.
Kimball became the first woman Justice when she was elected to the Supreme Court 20 years ago.
An election will be called to choose her replacement.
