Hundreds of teachers made their voices heard on the steps of the Capitol this morning.
They were protesting two house bills backed by Governor Bobby Jindal.
One would make it more difficult for teachers to get tenure and easier for the state to take it away.
The other would make it easier for low income students in failing schools to transfer to a private one.
Teachers say they have had enough.
"We have jumped through all the loops and hoops and this is how you treat us. you want to take away our security, so we want Jindal's security. We want to recall Jindal".
Teachers say they had to rally at the capitol today because their livelihoods are at stake.
All Jindal had to say is that he's moving forward with his reform package.
