Two UL Lafayette athletes no longer have basketball scholarships.

JJ Thomas and Raymone Andrews were suspended indefinitely from the team
 just days before they headed to the Sunbelt Conference Tourney. We're told they broke team rules.

Head coach Bob Marlin released this statement today.

He says at their request Thomas and Andrews have been granted a release from their scholarships.

Marlin thanked the pair for their contributions and says he wishes his former players well.
