In Baton Rouge at the USS Kidd veterans were honored with a commemorative wreath and the playing of Taps.

Veterans at the ceremony said it was nice to feel appreciated.
The USS Kidd was named after Rear Admiral Isaac Campbell Kidd.

Kidd was an american Navy hero from World War Two.
