‘Mr. Safety First’ robs local convenience store at gunpoint

 A man wearing a safety vest walked into a local convenience store, pulled out a gun and robbed the place. Now, police need your help identifying him.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reports that the incident occurred on Friday, Oct. 12 shortly before 7:00 p.m. We’re told the suspect pulled out a handgun at the Hit & Run Food Store on South Acadian Thurway.

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. However, surveillance camera’s captured the photo shown above.
