2 more child pornography arrests in Lafayette area

In addition to a story we reported earlier, 2 more men have been arrested for child pornography in the Lafayette area.

According to the Louisiana Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit, 40-year-old Scott Paul Touchet, and 33-year-old Adam Shilow, and  were arrested on February 11.

The three arrests came after the AG’s High Tech Crime Unit worked with local, state, and federal, law enforcement agencies including: St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office, Eunice Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations, Nassau County Police Department in New York, Fugitive Apprehension Units, Louisiana State Police, Vermillion Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Homeland Security Investigations.

Scott Paul Touchet was also arrested on February 11, on ten counts of distributing and 500 counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles. If convicted, Touchet faces up to 20 years in prison for each count. Touchet was booked into the Lafayette Parish Prison.

Gilbert Dupre, was arrested on February 12 and charged with 40 counts of distributing pornography involving juveniles. If convicted, Dupre faces up to 20 years in prison, for each count. Dupre was booked in Lafayette Parish Prison.

Adam Shilow, as reported earlier, was arrested on February 11 on charges of Production of Pornography Involving Juveniles, Indecent Behavior with Juveniles, Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor, and Unlawful Use of Social Networking. If convicted, Shilow faces a maximum sentence of 75 years in prison. Shilow was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail. Click here to see the original story
