40 million people in the northeast expected to be without power
Almost 40 million people across the Northeast are expected to be without power because of Sandy's strong winds.
That is why power crews from right here in Louisana and as far west as California are on their way to help out.
Reps from both Entergy and Demco say they are ready to help in any way they can and it comes full circle as they prepare to help companies that were here in Louisiana just a few months ago after Hurricane Isaac rolled through.
Even then it took some people days to get the lights back on but it would have been even longer if it wasn't for the extra support.
