The 705 is a group in Lafayette made up of young leaders coming together for a better Acadiana.  They, along with the LITE Center, hosted a luncheon today to talk about how the future generations can help with our community.  The 705 is growing rapidly and expanding our community involvement.  Local dignitaries attended the luncheon is support of the 705 future goals.

"The LITE and the whole community is support behind them to developing future leaders and part of my goal in LITE is to support and develop next leadership for next generation," says Dr. Kam Ng, CEO at LITE Center.

The 705 along with LITE's support hopes to form collaborative partnerships between their group and many citizens throughout the community.  They want to ultimately become the go-to source to find the true pulse of local young, community-minded people who are looking to be more involved and interested in local issues.
