As the storm moves inland emergency crews have been in prep mode long before tropical storm Isaac became hurricane Isaac and for good reason since the Acadian ambulance covers three states with both emergency medical care and transportation which means with Isaac they've got their hands full to not just manage their normal ambulance service but to make sure they're ready for any trouble from Isaac.

They have brought in 167 medics and other personel to back up Lafayette, Baton Rouge and the Mississippi gulf coast as well as other area's near the coast.

With a control headquarters additonal ambulance personnel
and support staff Acadian ambulance says they're prepared for anything.

If there's an emergency call 911 but for non emergecy medical assistance call 511.
