Friday, September 14, 2012 - 10:42pm

There was a bomb threat today in Texas.
The bomb threat shut down the University Of Texas campus today.
The school says someone called in a threat around 8:30 this morning.
The caller said he was with Al-Qaeda and there were bombs that would explode by 10:00 pm all over campus.
The school says it took some time to evaluate the danger, then sent out alerts to all its students.

Classes were cancelled for the rest of the day but students were able to return to campus earlier this afternoon, and activites were allowed to resume at 5 this evening.
There is still no information about who may have called in the threat.
