Cancelled AMBER ALERT: LA officials seeking missing 3-year-old girl from Lafayette/Duson area expected to be in danger
Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Deputies have Kailey Taylor in custody. She is being reunited with her mother and is in good health.
Deputies have located the white Bonneville in the 1100 block of Moss Street.
It it believed that Ransom is now in a Black Pontiac Grand Prix with a temporary license plate.
DUSON, LA (KADN) — Officials in Lafayette Parish have issued an Amber Alert for a missing three-year-old girl.
Kailey Kristy Taylor was allegedly abducted by her biological father, Ransom J. Taylor.
Kailey has brown hair, brown eyes, stands 3'0" and weighs 34 pounds. Ransom is is 30-years-old, stand 5'6" and weighs 130 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black pants, a black jacket and black boots. Ransom has a scar over his left ear and on his left bicep he has a tattoo of a naked woman. On his right wrist, there is a tattoo bearing the name "Kristal".
Ransom is believed to be driving a white Pontiac Bonneville with the Louisiana license plate number of XHM285.
The pair was last seen in the listed vehicle but their direction of travel is unknown. The suspect was last known to be living in the Lafayette are and based upon events on the previous evening, law enforcement has reason to believe the child's life is in imminent danger.
