For a lot of people it is something that is confusing and pretty intimidating, medicare.
So in Lafayette Congressman Charles Boustany sponsored a Medicare awareness event for seniors in Acadiana.
Todays event at the Southside Library brought together the Senior Health Insurance program and the Cajun area on aging.

It was a chance for seniors to cut through all the confusion.
The event was held to specifically help seniors navigate through their Medicare part d plans and answer questions about Medicare eligibility. For more information check out www.Medicare.gov.
