A crash shut down a huge portion of 1-10 last night.

It happened around 8:00 last night state police said an 18 wheeler crossed the median and hit another big rig bursting into flames one person died.
I-10 west bound had to be re-routed from La-415 in Port Allen all the way to the Henderson exit.
Clean up crews had a tough job ahead of them all because one of the 18 wheelers spilled something called Carbo-Tec.

The black substance on better know as drilling mud.
It is a product that solidifies and turns slick when it comes into contact with water.
The person killed in last night's accident was a 25 year old from Texas and was the driver of that rig carrying the Carbo-Tec.
The other driver walked away with only minor injuries
