Crowley's annual Rice Festival is underway
This year has great entertainment
LAFAYETTE, LA (KADN) — The annual rice festival in Crowley is underway and going on through this weekend. This year's entertainment is the highlight of the festival with the grand parade tomorrow featuring Southern's band with a special performance before the parade at 1:30 pm.
"We do have great crowds, and look one thing is you got to remember we're the number one festival in the state of Louisiana come and see why," says Gene Williams, general chairman.
Also tomorrow night's entertainment is Neil McCoy and A Bag of Doughnuts along with the traditional pageants and celebrations that go on every year at the festival. The festival is free with seventy different food vendors and all you can drink.
