An extensive search began over the weekend for a 45-year-old woman from Eunice who has been missing for several days.

The Broussard Police Department began the investigation on Friday, Nov. 9 shortly after noon. Friends and family of Paulette Thibodaux told investigators that she had not been seen or heard from in two days. The last contact they had with her was a text message on Wednesday, Nov. 7 where she told a friend “raincheck” in reference to a bible study meeting.

Thibodaux was last seen later that evening by her roommate. The same person filed the missing person report on Friday.

Within hours of filing the report officials launched an extensive search party, including ATV’s and assistance from outside agencies. The search continued throughout the weekend.

Thibodaux is described as a white female, 5’4” and weighing approximately 155 lbs. She has medium length brown, wavy hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a red T-shirt with some type of design/emblem on the front.

If you know anything about Thibodaux or her whereabouts, call Crime Stoppers at (337) 232-8477 (TIPS). You can also text your tip to TIP153 + Message to Crimes (274637).
