Gator season in Louisiana in full swing

Friday, September 7, 2012 - 6:51pm

Louisiana's gator hunting season is finally in full swing after Hurricane Isaac shook up the game for hunters in Eastern Louisiana.
Gator hunters tell us after a storm, gators get stuffed on dead fish debris and won't bite their baits.

The season usually begins on the last Wednesday of August for Eastern Louisiana.
This year that is the same day Isaac rolled into town and stalled over the state so the Louisiana Department Of Wildlife And Fisheries had to move that date back.
