For many years, the popular auto dealer Bob Giles, has been having fun while setting records. Now with the labor day weekend coming, Giles is at it again.

This time he wants to set a Guinness World Record for the most new and used cars sold in a one week period starting today and going thru the day after Labor Day September 2nd.

Giles who does a lot to give back to the Acadiana community through various promotions is once again wanting to have fun and set a new world record and has his sales team all fired up and ready!

"We want to set the record. So have told my staff the tit does't matter what it takes. Whatever we have to do we have to sell as many cars as we can. If we have to put too much money in a trade, if we have to do zero percent interest, we have to cut the pricing on every vehicle as we have. We are going to do everything possible to sell absolutely as many cars as we can in this one week period." said Bob Giles.

"We ant to make a difference and we want to do something different in Acadiana. We ant to do something that has never been down before. Sow e came up with this idea and said why not? Why not go after the record of the most cars sold in a one week period, and do it right here in Acadiana."

And to add a bit more to Giles trying to break the Guinness Record, you can come by the dealership and view the real Heisman Trophy that is awarded each year to the best player in college football.

Fans can view and even touch the Heisman Trophy starting this Friday thru Labor Day at Niles Nissan on Johnston Street.
