Iberia Bank, this year marking a 125 year old subsidiary of Iberia Bank Corporation, has declared today "A Random Act of Kindness Day."  Acadiana branch managers are sharing in the spirit of giving today by randomly handing out gift cards for local small businesses to unsuspecting customers throughout Acadiana during lunch hours.

"Iberia Bank is reaching out to the community through businesses and by giving random acts of kindness giving gift cards as a gift for the holiday season and wishing them a Merry Christmas," says Julie Menard, Iberia Bank Branch Manager in Acadiana.

Gift cards to Fornet Chevron and 2Pauls are being passed out today in front of many businesses throughout Acadiana.  Iberia Bank has more than one Random Act of Kindness Day each year, and sometimes even goes to restaurants and pays for lunch as a random act of kindness.  It is a way for the bank to give back to the community and establish relationships with their clients.
