IBERIA PARISH, LA — A resident of Delcambre has been arrested after a four month invesitgation into drugs being sold out of his home.
On June 13, 2013 Narcotic Agents with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a home in the 400 block of North Rail Road Street in Delcambre.
Narcotics agents, acting on tips given to them by the public, conducted a four month long investigation on the sale of illegal narcotics from that location. Agents also searched the residence above the business where the owner resided.
Wright Luter, 59, was arrested and charged with Possession With Intent to Distribute Schedule II Narcotics, Possession With Intent to Distribute Schedule III Narcotics, Possession With Intent to Distribute Schedule IV Narcotics and Monies Derived From Drug Transactions.
In all, agents confiscated 76 oxycodone tablets, 105 soma tablets, suboxone medication and $1002 in currency.
Luter was booked into the Iberia Parish Jail. Agents advise that more arrest could follow.
