Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office is asking the public if they recognize the man in this sketch.  He is allegedly responsible for holding a woman at gunpoint and demanding money as she was walking toward her home early Monday morning.  He was said to have left in a red pick-up truck.

"Any time that law enforcement and the public get together we're much more effective.  Obviously we consider this person someone that we would like to get off the streets.  He definitely approached someone at their residence armed with a gun so we would consider him someone that if you want to say he would be dangerous," says Captain Craig Stansbury, Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office.

If anyone recognizes this individual or has information about this crime contact the Lafayette Sheriff's Office 232-9211 or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
