Lafayette Police are now looking for two suspects responsible for two different incidents yesterday on Moss Street.  The first incident was an attempted armed robbery at MidSouth Bank on Moss.  When two victims pulled up and noticed a suspicious looking man waiting beside the building, they shut their doors and started backing away from the bank.  As the victims backed away, the suspect started after them armed with a handgun.  Luckily they were able to get away unharmed.

"We're asking for the publics assistance in identifying the suspect.  We do feel that he's a danger to the community, and it would be to the community's interest to get this guy off the streets," says Sergeant Kyle Soriez, Lafayette Police Department.

The next robbery happened in the 3700 block of Moss.  A black male suspect went into the store wearing a red curly haired wig and a camo military style "booney" hat.  He went directly to the pharmacy and gained access to the area where he stole several bottles of controlled medication.  He left in a Nissan Altima.  If you have any information on either of these incidents you are asked to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
