Lafayette Police remember those lost in the line of duty
Lafayette, La. (KADN) — Hundreds of police officers from across South Louisiana took part in the annual Police Memorial Ceremony at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church on Camellia Blvd. yesterday evening. It was a solemn and memorable event, as a police motorcade paid tribute to the officers whose lives were lost in the line of duty, and a prayer service was held honoring all officers who lost their lives protecting their community. The Police Memorial Ceremony is part a of week-long proclamation by Lafayette City Government to honor all police officers and to recognize the dangerous and honorable service they provide to the community.
