Lafayette residents report home invasion robbery

Lafayette Police responded to reports of a home invasion on Nov. 20, 2013, at approximately 7:20 pm, on the 200 block of Verot School Road.

According to the victims, three suspects allegedly forced their way into the apartment, struck the victims, placed tape over their mouths and tied their hands together. The victims say the suspects then forced them into a closet.

The suspects reportedly stole jewelry and electronics before leaving the apartment.

The three suspects were described as black males in dark clothing with their faces concealed.

The victims received minor injuries during the incident.

Detectives with the Lafayette Police Department are encouraging anyone with information about the incident to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
