Lake Charles man arrested in conjunction with murder a nightclub
Lake Charles, La — A man has been arrest for Second-Degree murder after a victim was shot outside of a Lake Charles nightclub.
On March 12 at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office along with the assistance of the Lake Charles and Beaumont Offices of the US Marshals Office, located and arrested Jordan M. Davis, 23, who was wanted for Second-Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon without incident in Beaumont, Texas.
During the early morning hours of March 10, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to The Keg in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival they discovered Quincy James Lede, 33, Lake Charles, dead in the parking lot from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest.
Further investigation revealed Lede was involved in a verbal altercation inside the nightclub with Davis and they were both escorted out. They became engaged in a verbal altercation outside in the parking lot when Davis pulled a handgun and shot Lede.
Davis was arrested and booked into the Jefferson County Correctional Center in Beaumont and is currently awaiting extradition to Calcasieu Parish where he will be booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.
