 UPDATE: The Baton Rouge Police Department has confirmed that the two victims include a 14 year old boy and a 23 year old female. We’re told the 14 year old boy was shot in his lower leg and the female was shot in her ankle.

Late night shooting leaves one man dead, another fighting for his life

 UPDATE: The deceased in last nights shooting has been identified as James Ray Mimms, 42. Mimms was shot in the neck and died at the scene. The other victim in this case remains in critical condition.
