Man on the run gets busted in Baton Rouge

A man on the run from the Rayne Police was busted in Baton Rouge overnight. Police in Rayne say John Smith, 45, stole a city of Rayne pickup truck earlier this month.

Dense Fog Advisory tonight

Fog should begin to develop quickly after sunset with dense fog likely occurring around 9pm through 6am tomorrow, New Year's Day, after the front moves through. It is likely that visibility will be less than one quarter mile at times.

Confirmed Tornado in DeQuincy

Here is a picture of the damage from the storm that hit DeQuincy Memorial Hospital. The roof was blown off and it damaged 3 cars. The storm has now been confirmed as a EF-1 Tornado

A need to know traffic advisory

If your daily travel patterns or business require using I-10 at Bonnet Carre Spillway between 8 pm to 5 am lanes will be closed nightly from Monday night, October 3, through Friday morning, October 7.
