LAFAYETTE, LA — The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office will hold its annual Leadership and Resiliency Summer Camp June 3 thru July 19.
The Summer Camp is divided into two grade level sessions. Middle school camps will run from June 3 - June 7, July 8 - July 12, and July 15 - 19. Middle school camps are open to any incoming 7th and 8th grade student in Lafayette Parish.
The high school camp begins on June 17 and concludes on June 28, and is open to any student attending a high school in the parish. Attendance is limited to 40 students per camp and registration is first come first serve. Registration forms can be completed on the Sheriff’s website at www.lafayettesheriff.com.
In addition to a variety of guest speakers, crafts, and activities, students will also participate in a variety of field trips to the movies, bowling alley, rock climbing, and more. All field trips, transportation to and from activities, and meals will be provided free of charge.
