A man is in police custody tonight after police say he locked himself in an airplane cockpit at Baton Rouge Metro Airport.
Police say Andrew Aleffi forced his way onto an American Eagle plane just after 11:30 this morning.
He pushed through the gate, past 2 employees, and locked himself in the cockpit as workers were cleaning it out.
Sources say he did not display any warning signs and he didn't have a weapon.
The plane was still being prepped, so no passengers or crew were on board at the time.
No charges have been filed just yet but when they are he will face state, local and possibly, even federal charges.
