Morgan City man solicits minor via computer

Following a month long investigation by State Police, a Morgan City man is in jail on charges related to computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

Officers received information in early Decemeber 2013 that 44-year-old Charles Fish of Morgan City, had inappropriate physical contact with a minor under the age of 16.

Detectives learned that Fish used a computer to solicit the child for sexual purposes.

Based on that investigation, deputies obtained a warrant for Fish’s arrest.

Police were able to detain Fish at his home without incident on Jan. 3, 2014.

He was booked into the Berwick City Jail on charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer-aided solicitation of a minor

The case remains under investigation.
