JEFFERSON DAVIS PARISH, LA — A 47-year-old man was arrested for allegedly hitting his child repeatedly. The child’s mother reported the abuse to authorities.
The Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that the incident originally occurred on Monday, Dec. 3. We’re told deputies were contacted by the mother of a juvenile. She claims that the child’s father was abusive.
Investigators took photographs of the child’s injuries and a warrant was issued for the arrest of Clyde Christopher Ned, 47, of Roanoke, La.
Ned turned himself in at the Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, Dec. 6. He was booked and released on a $10,000 bond.
