Tickets for the Lafayette NCAA Regional Baseball Tournament are selling out; visiting teams nearly through their allotment
Lafayette, La. (KADN) — UL fans have come out in full force to support the Cajuns baseball team this weekend as they host their first ever NCAA Regional Tournament. All Cajun games in the tournament are expected to sell out, the Cajundome box office believes this is the largest event to ever took place at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field.
Because of the quick turnaround on ticket sales visiting fans coming in from out of state will be hard pressed to find tickets outside their official allotment. Mississippi State went through it's allotment before it could offer tickets to it's fans. Although UL is not required by the NCAA to give up more tickets to State fans, the university is doing everything it can to not only accommodate Mississippi State, but San Diego State and Jackson State fans as well.
Regional play starts tomorrow at 1PM as the San Diego State Aztecs take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs. UL plays the Jackson State Tigers at 6PM.
