More good news for the city of Scott, another big company is putting down roots in the city.  Today was the groundbreaking ceremony for a new service center for Hoover Container Solutions.  This is a part of Hoover's increased focus on the Louisiana market.  The company actually bought nine acres in the city of Scott, bringing more business to the city and helping the city grow.

"It's been a great experience for us here being in the local community with all the local support that we've had has been great for us," says Robbie Monlezun, Louisiana Regional Manager of Hoover.

"This is great.  This is what we try to do as a community and we're so happy that they've chosen the city of Scott to come into," says Purvis Morrison, Mayor of Scott.

Hoover Container Solutions currently employs ten people at this new location.  Once the expansion is complete there will be an additional twenty to twenty-five employees, and when they finally start manufacturing in Scott there will be even more jobs available.
