New information from the department of natural resources. A spokesman for the agency says Texas Brine met today's deadline to draw up plans for more monitoring equipment.
It is all part of an effort to monitor what's going on in Bayou Corne.
The company also had to come up with a plan to monitor changes in the collapsed cavern.
In the meantime, a spokesman for Texas brine says crews began the process of removing hydrocarbons from inside that cavern this afternoon.
