Many deciding to take this New Year easy and stay at home
Lafayette, LA (KADN) — New Year's Eve is upon us and many have made plans to do something special to celebrate the beginning of 2013. We asked a couple of Lafayette residents what their plans were for this holiday.
"I'm going to watch the LSU game at home, enjoy a couple of cocktails, and then I'll be done for the evening," says Captain Kip Judice, Lafayette Sheriff's Department.
"I am going to a bonfire with our youth group at church," says Kori Sansbury.
If you're still trying to find something to do to celebrate this New Year just right, the Grant Street Dance Hall in Lafayette is hosting a New Year's Eve party with Machete, Selfawarewolf, and Quale Manifold. Evergreen Associates--Cajun Center in Houma is having a New Year's Eve dance, and Marvellettes New Years Eve ball will be at the Moses Center in Thibodaux tonight. If you are looking to bring the New Year in spiritually, there will be a New Year's Eve service at Magnolia Full Gospel Baptist Church in St. Francisville starting at 10 pm tonight.
