Opelousas police arrest woman for improper telephone communication

Police in Opelousas say a woman was arrested after making several threatening phone calls and sending threatening text messages to people who live in Opelousas including the Chief Of Police and other members of the Opelousas Police Department.
Police arrested 31 year old Jeana Thomas and charged her with 8 counts of cyber stalking and 6 counts of improper telephone communications.

 The Opelousas Police Officers involved were sent several threats which included references to the recent deaths of police officers in other areas.
Some of the phone calls were sexually explicit and others threatened physical harm.
