Defendant in custody without bail until set Detention Hearing and Preliminary Examination

Lafayette, LA (KADN) — More information developing on the sting at Desperado's Cabaret.  The owner of Desperado's, James Panos, was arrested among others during the sting.  The criminal complaint and arrest warrants have been sealed by the court.  Panos will be detained without bail until the preliminary examination and detention hearing set for Monday December 10 at 1:30 pm.  The judge prosiding over this case is Magistrate Judge Patrick J.
